About Us
I had already trained in horticulture before leaving corporate life, but it was when I began working as a gardener that I properly reconnected with plants and nature. Being outdoors every day and working through the seasons made me more aware of how the environment affects the skin. Soap making came first — small batches, simple oils, natural clays and traditional methods — and then a barrier forming hand cream followed because my hands were dry and sore from working outside in all weathers.
As more people tried my products, they started telling me about the skin issues they were dealing with — dryness, sensitivity, reactive flare-ups and hormonal changes and as my own skin moved through menopause, I started stripping things back and paying attention to what actually worked for me. I realised that protecting the skin barrier and supporting it properly, in a traditional step-by-step way, made a real difference — helping skin feel stronger, less reactive and more resilient over time. That’s what led me further into skincare: refining things so they felt more nourishing and protective, especially for women whose skin is changing and needs more support. The roots are still traditional and botanical, but the brand has naturally evolved into skincare shaped by experience, by listening and by what actually works.
Going forward, I want to keep it simple: well-made skincare that supports skin through change, especially as we age. I’m not interested in chasing trends — I’d rather refine what works and keep improving it, the way you do when you’re developing a garden, knowing it takes time and patience.
Caring for your skin doesn’t need to be complicated. It’s about a simple routine, good ingredients and understanding what works for you — and staying consistent.
